Mineral Wool Section
The mineral wool part of the sandwich panel production line is designed for cutting and placing asbestos or mineral wool into metal sheets to produce fire-resistant or soundproof sandwich panels. The mineral cotton sheets are automatically loaded onto a conveyor and cut into trapezoids and thin sheets (or so-called strips) using a dust-free disc. The preferred solution is dust-free sheet cutting to minimize material waste, eliminate unnecessary dust in the working environment of the cotton sandwich panel production line, and reduce costs associated with the mandatory treatment of mineral wool waste. Using a dust-free cutting disc can significantly save on the cost of asbestos material.
In the production of house panels, the trapezoidal shapes and sheets (thin sheets) are transported and placed on the lower metal plate. The strip must be securely placed within the cladding material and always have a certain displacement between them to avoid lateral tearing. Final tearing usually creates visible defects on the cladding materials, which typically occur after the panel is positioned for industrial construction and result in costly claims against panel manufacturers.
With the help of a two-component adhesive metering device, the binding material is distributed through a specially designed self-cleaning mixing head (detailed information about the mixing head is available upon request).
